RYTAN RY57 Plug Spinner - My Personal Favorite For Over 30 Years!

I always recommend Rytan when it comes to picking a plug spinner.   

Rytan's RY57 is my personal choice for a reliable, easy to use plug spinner. I've had mine for about ten years, and before that I had another Rytan that somehow got lost . . . and I had had that one for ten years!

The plug spinner is, of course, one of the essential tools in the Locksmith's arsenal. It is as important as the lock picks because when a lock is accidently picked in the wrong direction (or when indeed it is the only direction the lock will pick) this tool saves you from having to re-pick.The Rytan model has a nice feel to it and it is super reliable. The blades are replaceable and they are very easy to install. After spinning a few dozen locks these stainless steel blades tend to stay twisted and over time this cuts down on the efficiency of the tool. So it's a good idea to change blades when you see that the twist is becoming permanent.
