A great way to practice lockpicking

This is a 6-pinned cutaway practice lock that has been precisely slotted with CNC milling equipment to reveal the inner workings of the cylinder.  Not only did we slot the outer shell, but the inner plug is also cutaway in the same manner.  In addition, we load the lock with two colors to make viewing the pins inside much easier.  The top pins are one color, the bottom pins a contrasting color.

Available with either SC or KW keyway.  

Please note that combinations are randomly selected but we always filter out "flat" combinations and this assures that you will receive a fairly difficult lock to pick.  No two combinations are alike, so if you buy more than one, there will be no redundant combinations.  Included will be 1 working key and 1 incorrectly cut key - as a visual aid.  V Slot practice locks are rekeyable if you have standard rekeying tools and you are familiar with standard rekeying techniques.

This practice cylinder is as striking visually as it is effective as a teaching/learning tool!  The upper pins are red and the lower pins are green, which makes it easier to see the action within the lock and also renders the lock unusually attractive - nearly a work of art.  We've had customers buy them for friends as a truly unique gift.
