Terms of Sale
PLEASE READ AND AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING POLICY BEFORE PLACING AN ORDER
By submitting an order through our website, you are certifying to LockPickersMall.com and its owner(s) that you have read, understand and accept the following terms of service. This is particularly important if your order includes security sensitive items such as lock picking tools, destructive entry tools, and/or key machines of any kind.
Legal Matters
As a buyer, it is your responsibility and not that of LockPickersMall.com (hereafter to be referred to in this document as LPM), nor that of LPM's parent companies GSR Enterprises and Security Lock Service, to determine the legality of the purchase and possession of items included in your purchase, as they relate to your specific situation and region. You must check State and Federal, as well as local, laws, ordinances and regulations before ordering. When you place an order, you are legally certifying to us that you have determined yourself to be within your legal rights to purchase, possess and make use of the items you purchase.
The purchase of lock picking devices requires special consideration:
Should you select USPS as your shipping option:
It is documented in USC Title 39 Section 3002a (per US Postal Code) that items identifiable as locksmith tools may be sent by mail ONLY if the purchaser is able to certify that (he/she/it) can be regarded without question one of the following: A bona fide locksmith, vehicle repossessor, licensed dealer of automobiles or trucks, a bona fide lock manufacturer or a manufacturer of motor vehicles.
SHIPPING ADDRESS POLICY
We reserve the right to ship orders only to the confirmed credit card billing address (or confirmed PayPal address). When you use a credit card for your purchase, we receive an authorization code from your credit card provider that tells us whether the billing address you entered agrees with their records. If you have requested your order be sent to a different address, it may cause delays in processing and shipping your items. In some cases we will automatically ship to the confirmed billing address or we may elect to cancel the order and issue an immediate refund to the credit card.
In the case of PayPal, as a PayPal member you have the ability to allow PayPal to confirm your address -- this is the shipping address we prefer to use as it avails us to PayPal's seller protection coverage. If you request your order be shipped elsewhere, the same conditions apply as outlined in the previous paragraph except that the refund will be made to the PayPal account.
Orders that exceed $200 are particularly subject to the 'confirmed address rule', but we may elect to take this stand on any order at our discretion.
EMAIL ADDRESS and PHONE NUMBER
It is vital that you enter a correct and current email address on your order, as this is the address to which your order confirmation and all subsequent notices pertaining to your order will be sent. If we receive a "bounce back" on the initial order confirmation (sent immediately and automatically after you place your order), delays will likely occur as we attempt to validate the order as this is a common '"red flag" in terms of spotting fraudulent ordering attempts. The same applies to your phone number. We often contact buyers via the supplied phone number to verify information or simply in some cases to clarify details associated with the order. When phone numbers prove incorrect or, worse, non-working numbers it signifies to us that the order itself may be fraudulent. Take care to supply us with valid, legitimate contact information.
