COMB .45 - Unique, Effective and Ultimately Useful

Sparrows brings us another surprisingly simple way to "pick" a wide variety of padlocks.  The teeth of the comb pick align with the pin stacks within the plug of the padlock (in other words, you use a comb pick which has the same spacing between teeth as the padlock spacing between pin stacks) and the magic happens when the user lifts all the pins -- bottom and top -- up out of the plug, compressing the springs to the degree that this becomes possible.  This obviously creates a shear line, but not one between bottom and top pins but, rather, one in which all the pins are effectively removed from the plug allowing the plug to be very slightly rotated.  The comb pick, still inserted, can then be used in the same manner as a working key -- just turn it!

This particular comb pick is most effective against MASTER 140, MASTER 150, MASTER 40mm and MASTER 50mm.  It will even work on a Abus 5 pin 55/50.
