This is one of Peterson Tools' finest designs, yet one of the simplist.

A broken key extractor must be strong and yet very small.  It must have well formed parts, and should be straight forward to use.

The SAW-LBT is a particularly useful broken key extractor.  It is a companion to the SAW-RBT.  Together, they offer a great solution to broken key fragments deep inside double-sided keyways, so often found in automotive Locksmithing.

When inserted into the lock the left hand jaw is raised.
