The Ultimate Lock Picking Work Station!
This excellent product is a result of suggestions from some of our customers. The PikStation Supreme Edition gives the locksmith student the ability to work with practice locks in a variety of positions. This is more important than you might at first think.
In the field, it is common to be called upon to pick open a lock that has been installed upside down. This means you working on a flip-flopped keyway and unless you've had practice you will feel like a fish out of water, even if you have a pretty good technique. An upside-down keyway picks entirely differently than one that is right-side-up, if it picks at all.
Also, you'll be called upon to pick commercial keyed lever locks. These all have a horizontal keyway -- sideways! Try picking a 6-pin Schlage with spool pins SIDEWAYS sometime. The time spent practicing your lock picking with the locks in uncomfortable positions will pay you back time and time again when you're out in the field servicing lockouts or gaining entrance to abandoned properties in order to change out locks. The PikStation Supreme is also adjustable vertically, giving you the ability to set the height of the practice locks for more comfort, which is important to prevent fatigue from cutting short your lock picking sessions.
