Model LT612. This jig is a fantastic tool, designed
to easily drill for the retainer or pin on rekeyable padlocks. Padlock
can be reused with a little drilling and tapping. The Padlock Drill
Jig is constructed of aluminum.
There are occasions when padlocks are simply impossible
to pick, or doing same is not the logical choice. If you have, for
example, a box full of padlocks, all keyed differently, and no working keys
. . . it is a perfect job for the Padlock Drill Jig (providing the padlocks
are of the proper type).
Keep in mind that this tool is for REKEYABLE padlocks.
The jig is not set up to drill keyway shear lines . . . only retainers
found in rekeyables.
