MINIATURE PRACTICE LOCK

There's a common misconception that the smaller the lock the easier it must be to pick.  Not necessarily.

If the lock is a miniature pin tumbler lock you'll be faced with a tiny keyway that is almost too small for your lock pick, and this means you'll be lifting the bottom pins up past the shear line just be inserting a pick, unless you've had practice.

We offer these miniature practice locks to give locksmiths and student locksmiths a chance to bone up on picking tiny keyways.  These specifically are mailbox locks, and they are supplied without working keys.  They are not rekeyable.
