FPL15 High Intensity Probe Light
When working to position car opening tools that have to be inserted deep in the vehicle door cavity it is only prudent to use a bright light source so as to avoid getting yourself into a very bad fix.
Many vehicles now days have loads of electronics in the door and it is way too easy to cause shorts, damage components, short out computers, or even start fires by probing around in the dark.
This is a super handy, very bright light fixture with a 15-inch flexible wand and a brilliant krypton bulb at the end of it. The wand has 'memory', in that it will retain any bend you put into it until you straighten it out. The bulb is small enough to pass through a 1/8" space.
The long hollow handle is also the battery housing. This tool requires 3 "AA" batteries.
From a personal viewpoint, I have had one of these FPL-15 lights in my mobile lockout tool kit continuously for 25+ years. I`ve had to replace it once in that amount of time due to my own recklessness (the proble CAN be broken if you don`t handle it with a modicum of sensible care as it is copper sheathed in plastic).
