EZ-REKEY Practice Locks

Locks come in a wide variety of types with many different functions.  There are locks for windows, residential and commercial entrances doors, and specialty locks for containers.  Some locks can even serve to reduce one's contents insurance.  Practice Locks, on the other hand, are made exclusively to instruct and train Locksmith students and hobbyists . . . such as our hugely popular EZ ReKey Practice Locks.

This locksmith's Practice Lock can be rekeyed by the user WITHOUT TOOLS . . . and rekeying, with a little practice, takes less than two minutes.

It comes with 10 extra bottom pins, so you'll have a good variety of pin tumbler sizes.  It also comes with 6 spool drivers in addition to the standard drivers already in the cylinder.  With these, you can make your practice lock incredibly challenging.

The EZ ReKey Practice Lock is available as either a standard cylinder or a CUT-AWAY cylinder, as shown on the left.  They both key up the same way, but with the cut-away version (recommended particularly for beginners) you can see how your picking actions are affecting the pins and springs inside.
