TEACH YOURSELF TO PICK LOCKS LIKE A PROFESSIONAL
Introducing . . .

The ADVANCED LOCKPICKING TRAINING KIT
a fully equipped, self-instructional
training set up.

It's a fact . . . over 90% of locksmiths with good lock picking skills are SELF TRAINED.  Most people think picking locks is incredibly difficult.  The surprising truth is that it is a skill easily developed with practice and, most importantly, the right training materials and tools.

You can learn the basics in a matter of minutes with our exclusive training aids, all included in this ADVANCED TRAINING KIT.  In fact . . . we GUARANTEE you'll pick your first lock within five minutes!

This is not just a simple e-book designed to help you learn how to pick locks.  This is a full-blown ADVANCED TRAINING KIT that is designed to teach you the skill AND give you the tools and the platform with which to hone those skills to a fine art . . . if you should desire to achieve such a level of expertise.

Our ADVANCED TRAINING KIT includes all of the following:

PikStation Plus

This is the same model that we are currently supplying to the
U.S. Department of Defense and the Government Training Center for their lock manipulation seminars.

PikStation+Plus®

A sturdy workstation designed to give you a platform with which to practice picking lock cylinders anywhere you choose to set it up.   It includes a rear plastic storage case for your favorite pick set, an up-front plastic bin to house extra tools or lock cylinders, and it features our exclusive TriPik® holding fixture, capable of holding up to three of our special practice lock cylinders at a time.

The three Practice Cylinders shown are included (plus four more, as described below).

PXS-14 Lock Pick Set
1 PROFESSIONAL QUALITY
LOCK PICK SET
We don't just give you instruction and a workstation, we include a high quality Professional lock picking set by SouthOrd . . . the leader in stainless steel lock picking equipment.  This set contains 10 picks with varying designs (some with handles, some without), plus four tension tools.

Variety is important when you are just learning.  Over time, you will gradually settle on one or two of these picks as your "favorites", because you will build skill using the tools that seem to fit your developing style best.

This kit is amazingly durable and comes in a nice leather snap case.  It will fit perfectly in the storage bin that is part of the PickStation+Plus
®.

Locksmith's Master Rescource CD-ROM
THE LOCKSMITH'S MASTER RESOURCE
CD-ROM

This CD-ROM has become legendary over the years and has been picked up by a host of other websites (with our permission) to include in their product line.  It consists of several e-books, all designed to give you access to locksmith information that can be extremely difficult to come by.

Most import is the e-book, "How To Pick Locks" . . . an easy to read instruction manual bristling with colorful illustrations that makes learning this skill a piece of cake.  Written by George Robertson, a veteran locksmith with over 30 years of experience in the field, you'll find it easy to understand and follow, and an invaluable resource in your quest to hone lock picking skills.

Standard Practice Cylinder
PCY2

Standard Practice Cylinder
PCY3

Standard Practice Cylinder
PCY5
3 PRACTICE CYLINDERS
(standard version)
(shown inserted in the TriPik Holding Fixture above)

We include three lock cylinders that are virtually identical to the type found in the majority of commercial deadbolt and knoblocks sold today.  These cylinders are set up with differing numbers of tumblers inside, to give you a gradually increasing challenge as you learn to manipulate with lock picks.

You'll start with PCY2 -- which has two tumblers in the lock.  This is primarily to introduce you to the procedure and is valuable in that you quickly learn to FEEL  what happens when the tumblers are manipulated with your pick. You'll have this lock picked in minutes.

The second cylinder, PCY3, contains three tumblers instead of two.  It will be incrementally more challenging than the first.  The third, PCY5, contains a full complement of five tumblers, and is of a moderately difficult combination so as to give you a good challenge.  You will want to return to this lock frequently, even after you've "mastered" it, using different techniques and different lock picking tools.

Depending on our stock, you may receive Kwikset or Schlage keyways.

Cut-Away Practice Cylinder

PCYX5-SC
1 CUT-AWAY PRACTICE CYLINDER

This very specially prepared Practice Cylinder has had part of the upper pin chamber shaved away, revealing the working inside!  The top springs and top tumblers are fully visible, as is the "shear line" . . . the portion of the lock plug that forms a smooth edge when a key matching the tumbler combination is inserted.  You'll learn a ton just looking at this cylinder . . . and even more when you work with it, using various lock picks -- watching how the tumblers react to your every move.

It is generally thought that using a cut-away cylinder such as this can cut the learning curve in half!  No more will it be a mystery to you what goes on inside the lock as you use lock picks . . . and just inserting the correct key will instantly demonstrate what makes a correctly cut key work a lock.

Cut-Away cylinders, at our retail website, sell for over $30 each.

Standard Practice Cylinder
PCY5sp-KW

PCY5sp-SC
2 PRACTICE CYLINDERS
WITH HIGH SECURITY SPOOL PINS
(1 with Kwikset keyway, 1 with Schlage keyway)

Because it is important to advance as you learn this skill, we do not leave you with only standard, moderately difficult cylinders to work with.  We include two specially pinned Practice Cylinders, both fully pinned (5 tumblers), and both using "spool pins" as drivers (also called top pins) -- a universally accepted method of converting normal lock cylinders into highly PICK RESISTANT cylinders.

Yes, these will be difficult to pick.  That is the intention.  By working consistently with these two cylinders (after you've achieved at least a moderately reliable technique), you will convert yourself from beginner to "pro".

We give you one cylinder with the common Kwikset/Weiser keyway and one with the more restrictive Schlage keyway so you will become proficient with both.  About 90% of the locks in use today (particularly in residences) use one of these two keyways

Cut-Away Practice Cylinder
PCYX5sp-SC
1 CUT-AWAY PRACTICE CYLINDER
WITH HIGH SECURITY SPOOL PINS

This Cut-Away cylinder is loaded with high security spool pins, identical to those in the two cylinders we just described.  The fact that the top chamber has been shaved to reveal the pins and springs provides a valuable view of the workings as you practice picking.  The keyway is Schlage.

As a bonus feature . . . ALL OF OUR PRACTICE CYLINDERS CAN BE REKEYED USING STANDARD REKEYING TOOLS.  You can do this yourself if you have the tools and a pinning kit, or you can take them to any locksmith (and many hardware stores) to have them rekeyed . . . thus you'll have an endless number of challenges available to you.

You get the PikStation+Plus® with its attached TriPik® Holding Fixture, 7 of our special Practice Cylinders of various types (including two Cut-Away versions), the highly praised Locksmith's Master Resource CD-Rom, and a professional quality lock pick set . . . everything you need and more to teach yourself, easily and quickly, the skill of lock picking.

Whether you're a working locksmith who needs to sharpen his or her lock picking skills, or a student or beginning locksmith . . . or if you simply want to learn a skill that very few people on the planet possess to develop a hobby for yourself . . . you'll absolutely love this kit!

All this in one package . . . priced 60% below the value of the individual components!
